Which carb is better ???????????
Okay I checked out some resources and got schooled overnight.
the o2 sensor cant tell the ECU what it needs to do until after you burnt, and if you change throttle position to let more air in without more fuel too until the o2 sensor realizes it and makes the ECU change the mix then your throttle response sucks. so a throttle position sensor (along with other sensors too like manifold pressure) tells the ECU whats up, the ECU does what the map says in terms of fuel mix based on that and then the o2 sensor ultimately fine tunes the mix.
so the o2 sensor can handle altitude changes and temp and humidity variances, but motor changes require a map change for optimum response and acceleration....am I on the right track here?
sounds like tuning is no harder than jetting, just takes a laptop and a field (field + *** = redneck dyno), instead of jets tools and a field (redneck dyno)! sounds like mapping is like tuning the needle range, i.e. needle choice and clip position. sounds like a new kinda fun to me!

A few things. Everyone quit calling KMS so that he can get my bike back together before the weekend. It's still being rebuilt since my FSW fiasco.
Kelly said that he is going to bring down the cost as soon as he can get someone in the states to manufacture the throttle body. Right now it's only available out of England. He said the cost will be around $800. However I heard that AZSand is covering the difference for everyone on the board if they buy now. Just PM him for details.
The TB's come in three different sizes right now. 44, 48, and 52 I believe.
The system can be mapped by simply plugging it into a laptop, computer, or palm pilot ( it's a hand held computer Hightower)
The system is very nice and performs very well. Anyone want a set of 41mm fcrs for really cheap.......
