My 46HV will be here on Tuesday or Wednesday - I've got the cable run & everything is ready for me to toss the carburetor in. The throttle pull as I have the cable run is easy enough the spring in the thumb throttle housing is almost strong enough to return it to zero position. I have a feeling with the spring from the 46HV it'll be a no brainer and throttle pull should be excellent.
Unfortunatly I wont be able to run my quad until perhaps the weekend of the 10th though. I heard BigBaja may be at Pismo that weekend, so it would be a cool time to be there - especially since he is going to be test running his new Mr. HP 720 plus a whole lotta stuff.
Entomber, where do you have the cable running? I have mine setup to run out the front, swings out to the left, then back to the right, then comes straight under the gas tank to the carburetor which has a 90 degree cable guide on it. If you need pics let me know, perhaps you should try routing your cable without the carb atached & check the pull before you re-hook up the carburetor.
Also be sure to run the fuel line up under the gas tank, I forget who's picture page on here showed how they re-routed the fuel line but it's important not to starve the carburetor of fuel! It may have been Sandaholic since I know he has a 46HV.

DSengineer,
I have the billet thumb throttle all mounted & ready to go as soon as my Lectron gets here. If you look in my pictures link, you'll see a picture of the cable & throttle. I was really happy with the quality of the Moose billet throttle, it's such a simple design & looks great.
