I finally got it installed. Got to fire the Sand Yacht up and she sounds great. I have a few friends coming over tomorrow for there shots at my bike.

416ex on Alcohol. Befor the carb. I would beat him by 3 bikes.

440ex on race gas. before the carb. I useally beat him by 1/2 to 1 full bike lengths.

440 suzuki on Alcohol. he usually wins by 2 bike lengths.

690 Sparks. before the carb. He kills me 8 bikes lengths and pulling.

7mm stroked Banshee. All the goodies. HE destroys me as well. 8 to 10 bike lengths and growing.

I will let everyone know how it goes tomorrow.

Bartlett,
Can you detail what tuning changes to the 46HV you made to run Alky? I'm assuming you were originally tuned by Mr HP for gas.

Couple of other questions,
-How much of a difference in fuel consumption did you notice on Alky
-Were you still running the stock 04 swingarm on Alky and if so how tough is it keeping the front end down.

Thanks

Just getting in. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! I picked up between 4-5 bike lengths over the stock carb. It made a huge difference. The extra power was a plus, thou keeping the wheels down is alot harder now. Even with all my weight towards the front of the bike I was still able to bring the wheels up.

As for the races. I got probably 6 good passes, before I decided to give the Sand Yacht a break. The area we were riding in was a 600ft. or so dirt road. The 440 ex had some problems with his motor so I never got to race him. The drag Shee opted to not show. He said he had work.(but I know the real reason,, He's SCARED. LOL) The 416ex was an easy win. Derek(416ex) said that I holeshot him by 3 bike lengths and just continued to pull him all the way. I never looked back. As for the 690 Raptor. He continues to give me problems. Thou, I was able to cut his wins down to about 4 bike lengths. Hes got that thing dialed in really well. His swingarm is a big advantage, because he was able to holeshot me on both runs and would pull.

The 440 Suzuki and I raced 3 times. He was my first race and the last two races. The first run I couldnt keep the wheels down and he beat me by about 4 bikes, but I was gaining real fast. 0-1

The Second run I had to clutch to keep the tires in check and was able to stay with him to second gear. By third gear I had pulled about a bike ahead and continued to pull away. 1-1

The final run. I decided to easy into the throttle and let the hp take over. It was a good decision. I took the holeshot by about 1 bike and by third gear I was 3 bikes up and pulling. 2-1

Over all, the carb. is awesome. Low end torque and mid range torque are considerably superior to stock. It was a no brainer that the horsepower is way up on the bike. I fiqure the carb. and ported intake are worth 4-5 bike lengths over my previous setup.

Thanks to
