when the bogging starts, i'm getting up there in rpms. what rpm it starts at i don't know cause i don't have a tach. it is sudden, it just sort of shuts the engine down until i release the throttle some. but it seems like the engine should rev out more, u know? i guess it must be the rev limiter. don't know what else is causing it. until i hit it, there definetly is more power. i can hit it at about 3/4 throttle in any gear.

 

If you are in the higher rpms and it does it in every gear than it sound like you are hitting the limiter. Is it like a instant sputtering? If it is thats the limiter. try 5th gear and open it up and see if you can hit the limiter. I know it is hard to hit the limiter in 5th gear unless you have a long stretch of wide open space.
