Default DS Vibration????????

Hi i just got back from riding and i have noticed that if i run along the beach at just over half throttle in top gear there is a fair amount of vibration through the foot pegs enough to be annoying. the bike is new still breaking in hence the half throttle thing

There is nothing through the bars and if the revs go higher or lower it goes away

I know some motors have a critical speed type balance problem at certain rpm i just wanted to check if this is norman for a DS

Mine vibrates through the pegs as well. Once you get used to the bike you won't notice it much. The only time I notice it is when I'm out on the road pinned in 5th.

Thanks man i thought it was probably just the way they were but you put my mind at rest. When the 250r vibrated it usualy meant the balancer shaft bearings were on ther way out

I've noticed with the Wife's Raptor the vibration is in the bars but, with the DS it is in the pegs.

Ride fast and you won't notice

Its not uncommon with the big bore singles. My XR650R does it also.
