BlackHawk

Wow that sucks to only ride 30 mintues. How is the thumb throttle effort for you on your new carb? I've been told on another post, to polish the slide to make it move in and out smoothers. I don't think it's sticking in the thumb throttle side, but I will try the graphite regardless. I think I may go back to the 16 tooth sprocket, you kind of go through the gears rather quickly. Stuff I normally do in third I was clicking into 4th. I'm going to invest in a 14 - 17 tooth sprocket to see the differences and which one I will like best.

Glad to see that the 720 is finally running for you. Sorry to see all of the negative publicity Gasser endured through all of it.

Negative publicity? Heh... I go on about a few things but... let's just say.. I won't air out any dirty laundry here.

The porting I was told on my head is very nice, and it seems to hold up well so far. I got some bugs on my DS and they have nothing to do with TVI's craftsmanship. I do have some gripes that I had with TVI and if I could turn the clock back I defintely would go with MrHPs 730 kit. 10cc more and yeah it's a few more bucks. One thing I like about the TVI kit is the new staybolts. They are much stronger than the stockers. I'mnot sure if MRHP kit comes with them.

Still haven't raced my Stage III friend... the issue with my carb is holding me up from drag racing. I'm going polish the slide this week and see how it fares next weekend. I might hit the MX track soon see if that one tooth smaller sprocket helps in that area.

Yeah I was thinking of getting haulers possibly 8 paddle....where is the best bang for the buck to get them. Anyone know? Time to get rid of my paddlemasters.

rocky mountain might be one of the best get 22" i run the 10 paddle now seems to be a little better than the 8 for duning, the 8 seem much better on the flats.

Sandman does 10 paddle drag the motor down? The DS is the only bike I've ridden that paddles don't drag the motor down so much. Raptor and my previous 400 EX really suffered in powerloss with paddles.

well our sand gets real soft in the summer so no then but when it gets wet it has a affect.
we've went from 8-12 and the 10 seems best all around in our area. one kind will never be best all the time.
