Yah mine was abit harder starting when lean. I would just blip the throttle a few times while turning over and away it would go.

I would lean her out some but first either clean those pluggs good or get a new set so you can get a good reading. I went through about 4 sets while I was getting mine tuned in, after that I didnt change them for almost 1.5 years till Knuts talked me into trying a different kind.

Yeah I leaned it out but it doesn't want to start at all. I will give it another go ahead tomorrow. It rained today and to make matters worse I had a bunch of stuff to do this afternoon.

My Stage III buddy called we are going riding for 3-4 hrs on Saturday with my son... I'm going to put my crappy paddles on my DS and see how it fares against his Stage III. I will defintely let everyone know how it went. I just want to get all the extra tuning ponies I can out of my machine before the head to head event.

Well I can tell you guys it's neither 22mm or 17mm....

I'd use an impact wrench to break it lose.

Entomber the Lectron carbs are very sensetive!!!! I have a set on my banshee dual 36mm with power jets. If you low end is a problem how does the bike run in third gear with about 1/8 to 1/4 throttle. If it lungs back and fourth its too lean! You may need a different needle. Only turn the needle 1/4 turn at a time then try running it.

Hey Ernie!!! Man I still owe ya those decals.. I owe some to MRHP as well.. I'm going to work on everyone's stuff tomorrow... just overwhelemed with a bunch of stuff going on....

No it doesn't lung back in those gears. It actually runs very good. Only thing I can say is that at idle after a bit (maybe 2-3 minutes at most) it will cut off. It won't hold an idle. When it's cold it fires right up, but once warm it stays on the starter longer than it should be. There is also black charcoal build up on the slide and and the plugs are really black (again charcoal colored).

Looks like the long hard road of dialing in is ahead of me...
