Here is what im running:
the largest valves available,
shim under buckets,
14:1 piston,
titanium valve springs,
Mr. Hp porting,
48 lectron,
Mr. Hp latest cams. ( the same cams forcefed has)
Alba pipe,
custom plus 6" swingarm,
520 non oring chain,
and some lightened parts.

Eric told me that those cams would pull hard all the way to to top, and by god, they did. For those of you that need a little more ummph across the 300 foot mark, and dont want to shift, these cams are the way to go.

DStroyer

How is the bottom end on those things? Did Eric need your cores? It would be nice to swap cams depending in the riding your doing.

Entomber,

No need to swap cams for different types of riding. I dont want to sound like a broken record here, but these cams pull extremely hard from bottom to top. You really need to ride it to believe it. There is no hit of power like the two strokes. Its so smooth anyone can ride it. You do need to send him cores, but why switch cams back and forth if you dont have to.

DStroyer,

Your right. Let me ask you about your newfound power on the DS. If you wick the throttle is it arm ripping? Does it leap? I want something violent and obnoxious. I know the DS from what I understand power is SMOOTH but I want that violent arm ripping power when ya get off you say "WOW".

The only issue is the moose billet thumb throttle housing needed for the 48. It has a fairly easy push to it, but it needs to be sealed a little better to keep the sand out. I will be cutting a paper gasket to fit mine, and that will take care of the sand.

thats odd. I have the same throttle. it has a oring around the lid. had it for a while now and I have never seen so much as a spec of sand in it. I ride sand only.

Couldn't you just use a twist throttle with the Lectron 48 if you wanted to?

Hey guys,

Buttfungus was selling his DS and decided to sell off his 46HV. Well I dipped and I happened to sell my 44mm on Ebay. So soon I will be posting my report of the 46HV. I wonder if it's going to be a massive improvement over the 44 and how much more will I tweak it.

Butt sent it back to Eric for him to tweak it up a bit to match my machine. I will see how the results are from there. If I still need more ooommpphhhhh I will disassemble my DS send him my cylinder bore it out slightly to 730 and get his 14:1 piston. I found a local place that sells 110 Race Gas for $5.35 a gallon. Over the winter I'll prob do the larger valves. Maybe even this summer. It all depends on the turn around time. Now is the time to ride here so I don't want my DS down too long. Maybe I can eat up my Stage III buddy and shut his trap up for once.

DSstroyer I may be headed down to Silver Lake last week of August... would you care to join? I know Bigwaynester and Hightower frequent there a lot. That place sure is a lot of fun.
