Default which oil do you use?

I want to try another kind of oil but I don't not which one could be good for the ds I think we not suppose to use synthetic blend oil they wrote that in the operator's guide. I usually use Honda oil and I change it each month that become expensive so which oil do you use?

Factory Bombardier synthetic oil. Change every three weeks. Now that gets expensive.

AMSOIL! In everything I own. They make great synthetic oils for all applications including your Bombardier. Amsoil has been making quality synthetic oils for over 30 years. For more information and a free product catalog go to:

I use Bombardier synthetic but have been curious about Amsoil. I checked out the website, is that were you Amsoil guys buy your oil or do you get it through a local shop? I've never seen any around these parts.

Coyoteman, there are Amsoil Product Centers located accross the country, unfortunately none close enough to make it worth your while for the drive in Indiana as I explained to a fellow Hoosier earlier this evening. You can only buy Amsoil from an Amsoil dealer or Amsoil Inc. or you can become a Preferred Customer for as low as $10 and buy product at wholesale (dealer cost).

hmmm seems a bit expensive.... 1k dollars for a 55 gallon drum...

Is that retail? how would one purchase at wholesale? i wouldnt mind buying in a 5 or so gallon drum to first try it out.

i see now you have to be a preferred customer? 20 bucks a year and you have to spend 100 a year to keep membership? what will the prices be for members? thats a lot of cash unless it saves a lot over retail prices...

i assume the synthetic motorcycle oil 10w40 is what most amsoil users run in the DS?

anyone know how much shipping is? i didnt see a "dealer locater" on there to find if there is one local/semi-local

i want to change oils to save money... (im currently running valvoline ATV oil which runs like 3 bucks a quart)
