I will, without a doubt. A person's personality plays into their cutomer service. I buy, and will always buy, where I get good sevice! If I have to pay a little more for it then so be it.

This is what my experience has been:

Penny pinchers are always the first to complain.

They buy cheap copied foreign products and then complain about jobs and pay.

Sorry it's a little off topic but some of these posters remind me of these cake and eater types.

Generally I would agree with you. But in this case, the "Penny Pichers" did not buy a foreign product, and they are not the ones complaining - and that speaks volumes.

 

Like I said it's a little off topic but the same principle applies. I was not reffering to a paticular post but a generally attitude of some of the posters (people) and my experience.

I make an air filter adapter and the time spent with most people along with the sale and after are not worth the time spent for the price of the adapter. But in my case I do it for fun, because the time spent is not worth the money.


For the most part you get what you pay for.

 

Free advice??????????If you are on the dunes, theres always someone that knows something better that works. Or for that matter, at the track, at the parking lot, at the..........

C'mon, leave the businessmen alone!!!! If you buy something for them, expect product support. Eric, my hat is off to you if you have the time to answer questions for free. But for those of you that are asking the questions.......have some respect!

Wal Mart bashers are in the minority if you look at the full parking lots so I guess the minority doesn't like Home Depot or Loews for the same reason!!

 

Cain, when two people in business offer the same service or product as one another, what makes you determine who you buy from? just price? In my business, I try to be as competitive as a i can and still run a company. However, I still get phone calls from others asking my opinion or input, just to turn around and give the work to someone else. Sure I'll continue to give advice, knowing full well that there will always be someone out there to undercut my price, but when all is said and done, They will return to me, ask the questions, and realize that the for the money they saved before, they could get what they really wanted to begin with. Eric i am sure, will continue to answer questions regarding his products, some will take advantage of that, ask the questions and still buy the competitors products. But what will always seperate him, his knowledge and business practices. Marky, your attempt to offer a better or cheaper product is a great thing for us Ds guys. the problem most have with it is they feel it was copied directly from the Mr HP end cap. If it was made from there own design, and they delt there own technical advice, the problems would not be there. This happens in business all the time, but when its brought to others attentions like this, it becomes a little bit more public. my 02.


By the way, I have all Hp Research goodies, and will continue to do so. Eric, you da man!
