Just got a new baja X, I had a 01 DS and had no problems. Has anybody had any thing go wrong that I should keep my eyes on?

The only problem I had with mine it was with the oil sensor. The red lite on the dash started glowing softly and or fluttering softly. It would only happend when it was cold after I warmed it up it would go out. Dealer replaced oil sending unit 2 times before problem was solved. Just a batch of bad sending units. Could of been caused by water getting on sending unit. Dealer put a new boot over sending unit and I havent had the problem since. I think problem developed 1st because of the pressure washer I used to clean it after muddy trail rides through the woods, it got the sensor wet. Now I make sure not to spray the sensor directly.
Other than that the Ds X is awsome!

mine had a little problem with the start button on the handale bars...sometimes it would work,..sometimes not....dealer replaced it and ive had no problems at all...

 

Only problem i have had with mine so far(it really isnt a problem) is the rubber pieces that hold the bottom of the dash on started cracking so i called the dealer and they sent me 2 new ones under warranty. Not a big deal. I just got a RWR pipe for it too. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

hmmm, n here i thought mine was the only machine to have that happen to it, luckily it was wen the original owner(friend of ours) had it, was under warrenty as well,
