Yes, I would like to hear your report. I'm running 20" haulers on the rear right now, and steering is great. I do plan on going to 22" extremes though. So I might have to buy some fronts.

With 22" Extreme Haulers on the rear I found it very hard to turn/powerslide as low speed. The front end just wants to push/plow through the sand rather than bite. I will have a report on the front Sand Stars in a few weeks when I head down to Pismo.

another front tire question
I didn't have to remove the fenders. Getting 8" wide rims with 10" diameter was a special order and only Douglas will do it. I had to pay $30 per wheel to have the Bombardier unique bolt pattern drilled in. I did get the rims at distributer cost, so I ended up paying regular retail overall. I did this knowing I would use a good quality tire like STU Razorbacks, as the rubber is softer and will benifit from the wider rim. I could only find 6" wide rims in the Bomb bolt pattern.
After riding this past season with the wider rims, I found out it was worth the extra money to get the wider rims. The BOMb front end is a little heavier then my Banshee and the extra floatation was helpful in the soft sand.
