Default please help with tire decision. (long wearing/good traction 22 dirt tire)

Hello All,
I have the Razr 2's 22" and I love em. I was worried about them maybe being to big and having to trim something, but I didn't have to trim anything and they fit perfect. Added ground clearance is awesome! Traction.... maybe to much, front wheels keep wanting to take off like a leer Jet, and go sky bound. I will be happy when they wear down a little, I have maybe 15 hours on them.

I highly recommend them I have ran over every thing I can on the trail and in the river, 6 ply is great!

get Razr 2 here @ ronnies
This is what I paid.

i just bought tires. i went with 20 inch rear razr 2's and i hate them. I just think they are to small. I have a 15t front sprocket so i dont think that goes well with 20" rears. i am about to order 22" tires also. and probably 23 for the front.
i might go with 23 inch razr 2 fronts and 22" super swampers in the rear.

What kind of Super Swampers are you thinking of? I looked at Interco's web site, and it looks like they only make gumbo mud tires, like their Vampires.

You want a tire made to last? Bandits are it. They are about five pounds heavier than other brands though. Ive got a set when they first came out and they ran 5 years on my 300ex and still have 75 % of the tread left on them. Good traction but they dont like to slide.

For general trail riding many of the tires that come stock on most machines are the best choice. Im not sure about holeshots ,they have good traction but I dont know if they make any for long wear.

Personally I think its worth it to have specialized tires for every riding condition. Paddles for sand ,snow. Deep luggers for mud. Square small lugs for hardpack.

Get the 22in Holeshot XCT's. Great traction and huge amounts of tread.

my bros buddy has a pair of Vampires on the back of his ds, he only uses them when its really wet or snowy, they do work amazing in those conditions but they are a softer tire so they'd wear fast on hard pack
