oil tank drain valve

Default oil tank drain valve

I was thinking of installing a drain valve on the oil tank in place of the pipe plug. anybody use one?

I picked one up from a hardware store (1/4" Brass ball valve)

Default oil tank drain valve

I was thinking about that also, But I have never been able to get that plug out. I drain the oil by taking the hose of the motor.

i also have a brass ball valve. just havent put it on yet. make shure you have a pug on the valve to!!!! then just put a nipple on it with a hose.
