Default Questions for the Alchoholics

I have a race coming up on Aug. 6th. I want to switch over to Alchohol for this race. Ive never run anything other than 110 pump gas, so I need some fuel air ratios I should be shooting for. I found a somewhat local dnyo ( 2 1/2hr drive) that is set up for ATV's. But they do not have any expierience with Alky. So, in order to get this right, I will need to do some research on what to look for.
So, this is what I need:

Is there a special plug that should be used with alky since it runs colder?

What fuel air ratios should be reached for the best performance?

Im just going to test this out to see first hand what kind of perfomance gains can be reached. Now that it is dialed in on 110 octane gas, I can also get some settings for the alky.

Thanks in advance for your replies, I will be happy to post any results of the test in here for all.

Country,

Im going to try. It may not flow enough, so thats the reason I need to get some fuel air ratios to shoot for. Personally, I think it will do just fine, but the dyno is only way to get it setup properly right out of the box.

I didn't think it would flow enough but have not tried myself. Good luck!

I would also very seriously doubt that the metering rod will allow enough fuel. Seems like I heard that alky ratio should be between 4.3:1 and 6.5:1. Not 100% sure though.

Ive searched the net, and I cant find anything about the ratios. I appreciate the responses, but can anyone add anything to this. There must be someone running alky on here that has dynoed at least once. Or if you have a website link to some info, that would be great.

Thanks,

Gary
