I E-MAILED WAYNE YESTERDAY W/ HIGH HOPES OF SOMETHING HAPPENING W/ A BIG BUST MADE IN TULSA ON 1/10/05. COPS REQUESTED REPORTS TO BE FAXED TO THE COUNTY SHERIFF W/ CONTACT NUMBERS AND SUCH. TODAY I/WE (WAYNE) LEARN THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE QUAD IN THE HAUL. TULSA MEDIA SAID "HUNDRED'S OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF TRUCKS,TRAILERS,TOOLS,ATVs,GO-KARTS,BICYCLES,AND EQUIPMENT"
I TOO SHARE HIS PAIN FROM AN 1997 8X8 ARGO AND 2001TRX400EX AND 12' TRAILER RIPPED FROM ME ON 9/30/03.
NONE RECOVERED......YET.
I WAS INSURED ON THE 400 BUT MY BUDDY WAS NOT ON TRAILER AND ARGO.

Thanks for posting that Hippyhunter, I looked and didn't see any of my stuff, I had a lot of tools and camping gear in my trailer, so I thought SOMETHING would be there.
It must have been another group of thieves.
IT looked like they liked to hit the contractors.

Justin, thanks for the bump! thanks for keeping this near the top, I know this site gets new viewers all the time, I got to keep the word out. I keep hoping that something will show up. If anybody has posted this in another site, give it a bump!

I heard he bought a YFZ450

 

Not a word on any of my stuff [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I get the vision in my head everyday seeing my stuff drive away in front of my eyes, and keep kicking myself for not reacting differently, such as chase him on foot, or go to the front desk and look for someone with a car to chase them. A guy did chase them, but I did not know he was chasing them at the time, or I would have went with him. I had just woke up 5 min. before it happened. I also figured the cops could catch such an easy target.

I bought a used YFZ450, it is just piped and jetted. I want to get another DS, but I know as soon as I got one, I would start throwing money at it, I would try to make it like my other one. At this time in my life I can not afford to do that, when I can, I will be in the market for one. Right now I am not winning any races, but I got a bike that is fun to ride, and I don't have the urge to throw huge amounts of money at it. Being #150 soaking wet the YFZ fits pretty good, not near as comfy as a DS but it makes up for it in other areas. The YFZ is so small it will fit in the back of my mini van. PArked next to my 250 ex they look about the same size, except the YFZ is a little wider and longer.
