Johnny you need to redo the links - you have http twice...

You guessed right, I removed the battery and reservoir to "see" just how bad it'd look before I put in the airbox.... and I immmmmediately got out my grinder. It's pretty bad, but very stout. I think you could mount a friggin anvil to that battery holder!

Links have been corrected.

Hey Johnny, Looks like you've been busy this summer. Wondering why I haven't seen you on here much lately. Where do you camp when you go to Glamis? I'll probably try and head out there the weekend of the 22-24, so I just might have to look you up.

LOL...

Actually I did most of this work about a year ago. The reason I've not been on here as often is I got hooked on a couple other forums, as well as some PC games. Productivity is down.

I'll be out off of Gecko Road in the "Gecko Campground" what we mostly call the "loop". It's the area about 3-4miles in on Gecko on the East side of Gecko... that is a mini city during major weekends. I'm leaving either 10-21 or 10-24 (maybe the 24th to take spots where people pull out... instead of the 21st where I'd have to hunt for a spot) and coming home on the 31st.

And foe shoe!!! Come on out and look me, and my camp up! I've got several markings to aid in finding my camp. Plus I usually give directions on my cell (the greeting says where we are). So let me know!! When it gets closer... I'll send something out or PM me... and we'll hook up with #s and such.

Uhmmm... All the pictures of the FRAME RE-WORK are up (on my personal site).

Pictures do no justice.
That airbox mod is a "must do" for you people who are meticulous and **** about asthetics!

LET ME KNOW what you ALL think.... Seriously.

Is that the stock battery / does the stock battery fit in that air box?
That box makes it so much cleaner especially if you cut the rear fenders and it seems to keep a lot of things out of harms way. That's the sickest project DS i've ever seen.

WOW... thank you!!!!

Yes, it's the stock battery. Just with a little 'weatherseal' to keep it from bouncing around or to help it absorb some of the vibration. It all fits perfectly. If you notice, all the electrics get mounted within the box as well. Makes it real nice and clean!

And...
It's 'kinda' for sale?!
