what can i look for as far as the engine to see if it is ok? good rings etc? the spark plugs? the color of the oil? any help would greatly be appreciated, i read somewhere make sure when you turn the key on that the red light is on and it goes off after it is started is this true? i looked at it once and it was 70 degrees outside and he didnt use the choke and it would not idle till it got warm is this normal? thanks fellas i really appreciate it,

bent handlebars, look for stress marks on the frame, cracks on the frame, feel the headlight and see if it is busted under the plastic, make sure it goes straight when you ride it
