Default Rebuild?

I have an 03 baja that is piped and jetted and I lost to a new 05 DS that is stock (3-4 lengths in 600 to 700 ft). I have tried many times and I can't accerate as fast as him. Now my DS has alot of miles on it. I don't have noticable oil consumtion and no smoke. What problems is everybody seeing that could cause this (rings, valve lash. etc.).

Default Rebuild?

First off I lauched better then the 05 in drag races. The other rider makes up the weight difference between new and old DS's. As far as I now, the rev limiters on both of our atvs are set at 7900rpm. My problem is engine output.

Default Rebuild?

what about traction? one time on grass i raced a completly stock 00 ds that had holeshot xct's on, against my 75% worn ohtsus, and he laid the smack down on me!

it was because i spun and spun and he got better traction.
just somthing to consider.

if that isnt the problem im interested to hear what is... (i assume ur jetting is ok?)
