Slowest to fastest (on a long dune hill):
Stock
Pipe
Above + ported intake
+ carb (good idea to add heavy duty clutch springs now too.)
+ cams, new cam springs and high compression piston
+ port work on the head
+ race head (larger valves)
+ big bore

Generally, that's the order.

On a big hill the piston, cams & head port work bike will literally embarrass anything below it.
Add a big bore and you'll talk the same level of embarrassment.

720 vs. 760 - this race depends more on set-up and rider weight but, given the same set-up the 760 should take the race. 760 really shines out on the dunes.

As you start to compare the big bores it is more a matter of set-up than anything. If you throw NOs in the mix it really mixes things up. NOs can virtually put you anywhere in this mix. Ditto to alchahol or NitroMethane.

I don't want to get in the middle of any who has beaten who. Trust me, you don't want to get anything like that started unless you simply state who you lost to.

With my current set-up I've lost to (I'm only going to list the DS's - don't want the list to get too long ):
Jeffnrivercity
KMS Turbo
Annihilater
Viper650 on the juice (someone feed that guy some cookies and ice-cream) He may cost me the $$ for the bottle!
I'm sure I would loose to:
Majorecho (once he get's that K&N Power-up kit )
TVI
Sandman430

Exactly what DuneMe says except to say I have also lost to lesser bore modified YFZ's and some 400's

Edit:
Also I should not even be listed with the people you listed Im not even on the same hill as those quads.

thanks dunme. eaglecollector you should be faster then kmdunner right? both stage 3 stk bore duals. and i have heard that kmdunners will run right with the 720's!!!! is this true. but maybe setup is all that matters when you get this far. tires sprockets weight the little stuff.

Im sure kmduner would take me out. I have the baby cams in mine right now. the 110 grind. I do battle with mild 686's but thats about as far as I can go until I step up to some real cams.

The 440 is not even close. With a 90lb rider on the 440 I can easily beat the 440 by 1/2 the hill at Dumont
