cork - paper ?? what material is a stock ds? Which is stronger, cork or paper. I take it kevlar trumps both?

Aftermarket Clutch Friction Plates
I installed the (9) EBC Kevlar frictions with 9 OEM steels plates. I used (4) 125lb/in custom clutch springs combined with (2) 100 lb/in PAMI clutch springs. I used the new valvoline 20W50 4-stroke oil.
I soaked the frictions in the valvoline oil for a couple hours before installing.
The temperature was 15 degrees out and falling! The 20W50 oil is not intended for cold temperatures so the oil was sticky. When first installed, the clutch seemed to have some drag, but I figured the clutch needed to be "broke in". Trying to start alcohol at 15 degrees can be troublesome even with EFI. I put gas in first to get the motor warm and that did the trick. With the alcohol in I let the oil come up to moderate temperature for about 10 minutes. I worked the clutch to eliminate the drag. I took the DS for a spin in an inch of snow at 15 degrees with wind chill below zero. The drag was fixed. The clutch pickup was fast and the DS pulled hard. I then readjusted the clutch cable after shifting through gears a couple times. Everything seems fine so far. Time will tell I guess. Not sure when I'll be able to get more time on the clutch to see how it holds up.
