Default tm 45 pump??

i have started playing with the pump on my tm. i got a #50 jet installed. i'm just wondering how do i know if it is pumping too much fuel into the engine?? will i see black smoke or my bike will bog?? i don't want to wash my cylinder walls down with too much gas and contaminate my oil.

Default tm 45 pump??

Set the duration of the squirt for about 1/8 to 1/4 throttle. most say to aim it right at the needle to break the squirt up b4 it goes into the jug Ive also herd to aim it right at the inake port so its a direct shot. Ive done both neve noticed a diff.
either way from what I was told the squirt is starting to atomise when it passes through the intake. so I wouldnt worry to much about washing down the wall w/ to much gas w/ this set up.HTH

Default tm 45 pump??

i was thinkin of trying a really short squirt duration like 1/8 to 1/4. my bike ran good without the pump. i have it set for right off idle to a little less than 1/4 now. but i took off my snorkle and watched the squirt, still seems a little too much to me but its hard to keep that front end down in the first 3 gears now.. i have it aimed at the needle. i did try to the right too and didn't notice any difference as well.
