Default Wheel Bearings

How would I know that your front wheel bearings are shot? I get a sqweek noise from my left front tire every front rotation and i am trying to figure out what it is.
Thanks

Its probably a sticky brake calliper. to check the bearing jack the wheel of the ground hold the top and bottom of the tire and pull on it so as to tilt the wheel if you have movment you have a lose / worn bearing , if its just loose this can cause the disc to rub the pads and make a bit of noise.
hope that helps if not ask again.

I would raise the front end off the ground and have someone to hold the handelbars still and see if there is any play in that wheel. And I would make sure that the noise is not comming from the brakes, spray some WD40 on the disc and rotate the wheel see what happens. My sqweek sound was the brakes.

I wouldn't spray wd-40 on the discs as this will impair stopping power the next time you hit the brakes. Use brake cleaner after pulling the caliper if the problem is your brakes.

Yes WD40 is just a test, It will impair them the first time you use them.Sorry I left out the important details.
