Does anyone know were I can get a carb kit for my DS to Run Alcohol or what sizes would be good to punch the jets out myself to start setting it up?? I will run a small fuel pump to keep fuel flowing to the carb fast enough.

 

get some good drill bits. i dont think there is a kit you just have to drill everyting out twice as big as it is now.

 

the stock carb is not a good carb to modify for alcohol..... I could never get it to run smoothly. teh TM42/45/48 are very simple to set-up for alky.

Friend were do I get these carbs at and what do you suggest?

 

on Ebay, look in with the Harleys,and search for HSR 42, or 45. these are the same carb that Ron Woods sells for the DS. great carbs for Gas ,and Alky.
