i mean ya if they are readily available, save the 5 bucks, but no sense in waiting around to save 5 bucks. (imo anyway)

well if the ebay purchase goes with good results than it can be considered a reliable source, but i have done hundreds of internet transactions, and 90% of my trouble with purchases has been through ebay.

Hey I am just trying to help you guys out buy posting the eBay link. For me it worked great, saved $8 and got faster shipping. Next time I post a link to eBay, I will put a disclaimer: Click at your own risk!
I think everyone knows the risk of eBay, we all read about the scams etc. You have to be smart about it, only buy from sellers that have + feedback, I always use paypal for my transactions. I also try to only buy from vendors that use the PayPal Buyer Protection program.

lol i also only buy from ebay members with good selling feedback, but that hasnt stopped them from turning evil during MY transaction!
my biggest scam cases were with ebay members with HUGE numbers of feedback! (maybe they got tired of dealing with it and just quit... lol)
i have lost probably 200+ dollars worth of stuff to ebay, i think its just my luck though. (many of you probably saw my luck with the thread i made about my account getting taken over, and them listing like 5 million worth of items, and 22k dollars in ebay fees lmao)

If you are losing money on EBAY, then you must not be doing it right!!! When you use paypal, you are guaranteed up to 1000 bucks back if soemthing goes wrong.
I purchased a car amplifier a few years ago, and the seller found a local buyer that would pay more and sold it to them, after selling it on line to me. he was slow with the refund, and paypal got involved. the guy got kicked off of EBAY because his seller rating fell below a certain percentage (i think it is like 95 % or something like that) If you use paypal, you can't go wrong!!!
Out of 24 transactions on EBAy, i had only that one bad experience, which i think is well worth the hundreds of dollars i saved by shopping for the items i bought on EBAY.
oh yeah, jsut picked of the pc545 off of EBAY as well....68.95 shipped to the door, but the place is in florida....probably take about a week to get.......

i bought my PC545 cheap off e-bay. this battery is far superior to the OEM battery and various replacements available. i've had endless battery issues since i have a lot of electronics accessories. i looked into different battery types and the PC545 was the best available for the DS. the battery arrived and it measured 12.85V after sitting sealed in a box for months! that's one for the advantages of this battery. my yusa would hold it's charge for nothing, and I measured the parasitic current drain on the battery and it was only 0.0006 amps.
FYI, the battery is a dry cell, sealed VRLA (valve regulated lead acid), AGM (absorbed glass mat), starved electrolyte battery.
I also bought a 6 amp deltran battery tender (022-0157) designed for these types of batteries. The automotive battery charger wasn't doing a good job and must not be left attached, unlike the deltran.
And I bought a BMW F650 rectifier for $116 that is a far better design than the bombardier one and handles more current and maintains a higher charging voltage.
