I've had mine on the bike for about 3 weeks as well. I waited almost 2 weeks to put it on, then didn't ride for another 2 weeks...when I hit the starter, my bike started right up. Considering I don't have alot of weather issues where I'm located...other than ALOT of heat for around 2 months...this battery will hopefully last me alooooong time.
Just an FYI.....Since this battery was not a tight fit like the stocker is, I went to my local hardware store, and bought some 100% pure rubber weather stripping. I put several layers on top of each other, then placed them behind the battery, as well as on the bar that keeps the battery in place. This definately keeps the battery snug!!! Also, since my fenders are yellow, I used a thin piece of rubber to cover that battery, similar to the way that Honda covers the battery on a 400EX. This looks alot better than having that orange battery just hanging off the side of the quad.
