Was wondering if there is a better battery than factory one....The factory one is always going dead after 1-2 weeks non use....Was wondering if there is a better battery for this bike?? What's your input?

Absolutely there is a better battery the only drawback is the it costs more...naturally.
Sunn battery co has a dry cell that fits directly into the box and does not need periodic charging according to the literature that came with it. Try Sunn Battery and look for PC545. My original battery took a crap after 5 years!!!!!!? so I just bought one. 75.00 and 5.00 flat shipping rate anywhere in the states. Pretty good deal if you add up the time and money waisted on gel batteries

Definatley Sunn Battery. Bought mine there and couldnt have been happier. Oddyssey are good for at 300 kills, meaning you can kill them and then jump them and they are fine. Im on kill #10 now. So far great battery.

By the way, in ernist of giving credit where credit is due, DSJobber was the guy that directed me to this battery when mine gave up the ghost at Dumont over holloween weekend. Thanks dude. According to the information and specifications in the literature, there is no better battery for this application. And its a direct fit to boot.

its pretty obvious the consensus is to go for the odyssey, but i thought id throw my 2 cents in about it as well....
I LOVE THAT BATTERY! i went through two stock batts (big mistake) first one lasted 9 months, second lasted 3 weeks.
and about the odyssey being more expensive? hmmm must have a good dealer to hook you up, because the cheapset i could find a stocker was 87 bucks before tax!
odyssey is a very powerful batt....it can be low and still out crank the stocker. (that and it wont drop charge in the winter...i bought a trickle charger, but it always reads at full so i dont even use it)
