Thanks Gary but you were beating me pretty consistantly all year long till I put in some fresh rings and bought that air/fuel meter to tune them carbs. She really came alive then!!!
I must admit though, that first win for that pizza was sweet. That was the best tasting pizza I ever had. LOL

What ever sport quad Alltoys decides on , he will make it FLY!! he has knowledge and resources beyond that of a average biulder. I certainly hope he chooses the DS platform for his next project. Everyone in this forum will benefit from it thats for sure!! The Kawi-guys like Alltoys,Shotgun,and a few others can match and surpass us DS guys when it comes to making power from thier chosen engines,and tuning them to perfection. I have followed thier conversations and progress for the last couple years, and I have been very impressed with thier accomplishments they have made with the Kawy V-twin.

Thanks for the pat on the back. Well it seems I am about to join the DS family as I just picked up a DS Baja the short style. This fellow switched his engine to alcohol and unfortunatly he siezed it. Yes the motor is tighter than my first girl friend,lol. Oh man was his wife choked to find out he ruined his quad after spending a good amount of coin on it. Good for me though as I got it for a song well almost, lol. Now I will break lose the engine, get it running then see what I can do with it.
I must thank you all for your help I hope I can come back here later once I have it running so I might be able to pick your brains. Thanks again I have picked up some valuable information see you soon.

Someone should have told that guy that when switching to Alky he needs to double the Main-jet size,and drill out the Pilot jet .075[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Oh and dont use the stock carb.
good luck biulding your engine! I have a WHole engine with all high-performance parts in it for sale if you know of anybody wanting one. just drop it in and go!!

Your talking very general whenever you say an 800 Kit. There are too many variables whenever you talk about a bore/stroke combination to make an assumption on the price. I think the best thing to do is contact them and they can walk you through the different senarios of what you want in an "800". If you know what I mean.
