Don't know and can't vouch for the 4.74 run, but I can asure you that there are lots of Prairies and V forces that are making 75 HP and over at the crank.

I have seem grafts as high as 94HP.

Go to this site and go down to the third from the bottom, named STG6 650 vers YfZ, and watch a stage 6 praire like what Alltoys has, putting a beating on a moddified YFZ there is also other vids of it.

The two runs I made at the North Atlantic champinship was against a modded YFZ and a Banshee, which We won both times. I found water in my oil, two cracked sleves and stopped.

These BBK Prairie's and V's aren't going to run with a Modded out 730 or 780 Mr HP or Pami DS, but they would give any piped, jetted sports bike all they want in 200 and 300 ft.

I have no doubt that any machine can be changed to hit 100mph. What I was questioning is, hitting 70 or so, in 300 foot. Like I said, the 75 hp is not the problem, but it is if you want to hit those times and mph in 300 feet. Especially with a 600 lb plus machine with a QUADS CVT TRANNY. (not the same as the sled motors use) It just does not add up. Sorry. But I will leave this alone and move on.

p.s. I have to ask, 4 second V force without nos or turbo? Im sorry, but that is not going to happen. You need to come on out to check out a real event, with some real machines, with pro tree lights.

Let me just say this, the 4 sec time sounds more like a 200 ft time to me, no one ran close to 4 sec when I was there.

Gary with TVI sports is not the way to go! Take it from me 12,000.00 dollars later, the guy will make nothing but empty promises on what kind of performance he can get out of the bike with his kit's and none are worth a damn. Frankly, the guy doesn't have a clue in hell as to what he's doing. I had sent it to him for a 760 pami and received original head not pami, with big bore and some carbs with a stroke in which i had the crank bust on first ride out. You heard it here and i make sure i inform anyone who ever thought of taking there bike to gary at tvi to seriously think of reconsidering.

last saturday in crawfordville .ga .. their were 4 v-force's all moded and the fastest ran some where in the high 5"s 5.7, 5.8 , 5.8, 5.9! they talked alot of crap before and this is on HARD CLAY not sand.they were quick for about 30'..my son spanked them with the r!

 

I respect all the feed back on this topic. The part I like about the DS is durability of the machine especially the motor. Dollar for dollar is what I am concerned about. For instance there is a price where all engines will give the most power with minimum bucks after that it is a very deep well to which you can keep feeding a never ending void. Do I spend 12,000 on a DS motor that will have say 90 hp to where I can spend 4,000 get more jam from a used motorcylce engine/sled engine with a proven 100-200 hp output. From what I have seen with these super hotrod 2 wheel drive quads is they are spining tires down a full 300 feet. So again how much power equates to the best times with which machine and what motor combination??????

The biggest question I have for myself is where will I use it, for drags period, or for drags and general messing around?? It seems though a big waste to spend a lot of money to just point aim and shoot.

 

If you want full blown, all out power go with the 4 cylinder bike motor. I run classes that must have the orginal type motors with no restrictions on mods to them. I have had to go with an R-1 in a Raptor (pic 16 on my page) frame because Rotax don't make a 4- stroke that is competive that I could put in a DS frame.

I love the ds for the ride, making big hp is a bonus!!! I could not see a 4 banger in my ds frame. To go real fast build a bad shee for less money. I just had a 3.8 - 3.9 motor built for less than 5k
