With my recent starter problem still unresolved I decided to tear into my DS,but to get to the sprag I had to dissasmble quite a bit of the bike. When I reassemble I might as well "do the right thing" I called ron wood racing today and mapped out my mod's new cams, springs, piston, pipe, carb, electronics, etc... We did not talk about stage whatever so I dont know what stage it is, they are going to call me at the end of the week with a total $ so wish me luck.
I also want to move the battery into the air box area so if anyone can tell me who to call I would appreciate it
One more bit of info I ordered the flywheel puller and side case removal tool from the dealer today $30.00 not a bad price in my oppinion.
If there is anything else speak up. I might try some ice racing in N.W. Indiana this winter if it is still going on. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance.
Scott

I'd just buy the supercharger and be done with it.

I called them today they said call back tomorow. Meanwhile I decided to manufacture what I want myself. Thanks for the number anyway. Scooby if you enjoyed playing with jetting before wait until you get a supercharger. Hopefully it will suit your needs and be virtually trouble free (you deserve a break) unfortunately a supercharger will not give me what I need.
Do yourself a favor and get an exhaust pipe mounted pyrometer, it will help in jetting and save the internal organs.

anyway good luck, Scott

superchargers come stock on various mainstream automobiles, so they cannot be that big a deal.

I don't recommend woods carb, cdi, or pipe. You'll find out when you get them.

In modern times on mainstream cars that have computer controled fuel injection, computer controled timing. All that aside a blower would never be a consideration for me not because of any added hastle all modified engines require a constant handle on the state of tune, also I am not against anyone running a blower and could not give anyone a reason to avoid them.
