Default Cheap ATV Alarm Idea

I picked this up at Home Depot for $10.00.

It is the (S184 DOOR GUARD)....

I think this will work well as a simple atv alarm. Just hide it on your quad somewhere and before they can cut you chain or lock it will go off....Anything is better than nothing at all

Wonder how sensitive it is i.e. if the winds kicked up at night I wonder if it'd start going off? Since the thefts at Dumont started getting bad last year I started to remove the front wheels off of the "valuable" quads before we shut down for the night. It's a PITA but from what the rangers are saying the thiefs are towing things off with long ropes then loading them up into trucks. I figure most of the dirbags would pass on something without wheels when there's plenty of easier targets around.

Rember when we didn't have to worry about this crap? I do and it sucks now.

The wedge one might work well if it was battery powered. Slide it under the wheel.

I've found that my great dane and hk p7m8 do a excelent job as a theft deturant, but that would definately be a little less expensive, and alot less messy
