The pipe is fine. Typical as for a slip on as far as performance and sound go.
The BIG draw back for me when I had that pipe was when it came time to repack it. It has rivits that hold the siliencer and packing in place. You have to drill them out and then rivet new ones in. T^hat suxs....I would get a pipe that uses bolts/machine screws. Most folks seemed to like the HMF slip on pipe.

I have the R4 as well. Good all around pipe, but the fit sucks. Not too sure if I bought the right pipe for a 03 because it was used and really cheap. Had to drill an extra hole to mount it and bend the mount under the seat a tad. The pipe still hits the frame but not as bad as before. I figure better to hit the frame then the shock.
