My first ride on the baja

My first ride on the baja
Words just can't explain how much fun I had this weekend. I picked up my bomb on Saturday and then Me and two buddies took our quads out to the mountains above Newberry Springs California and had just about the best two day ride of our lives. The bomb was incredible. Large rocks, thick trails, steep hills, wide open fire roads it handled it all. I beat the crap out of her and she kept asking for more. I hit this one rock that knocked me clean off her, I thought for sure I bent an A-Arm, but all I did was take the steering out of alinement. Two flat tires, a bent rim and a few hundred scratches later we were back to civilization.
The bomb never quit on me, always had the power to keep me on the trail and was just a joy to ride. If this bike could be broken I would have done it, but after an oil change and a bath she looks great. Wednesday I will take it too the bike shop and have the alinement fixed and the tires repaired, the rim should be okay, the beed lock really saved me. I will get the pictures developed from our trip and get them on this forum for you guys to check out.
At one point we went from 2700 feet to 6500 feet in 40 minutes in ruff terrain, this bike kicks ***.
Thanks you guys for helping me make the decision to get this bike, I am really glad I have it.

Well that is one way to break her in.
Do yourself a favor and replace the stock 2-ply Ohtsu's with some good 6-ply tires. Otherwise you will be running flats all the time if riding rocky conditions. Holeshot HD's or RazrII's are a couple of good choices. Go 22's on the rear for extra ground clearance
