Hey guys, I am trying to find a company who sells a aftermarket bar clamp for my DS. I need a bar clamp so that I can run a new pair of Tag bars without it hitting the tank. I need the clamp to be in 7/8 diameter. The only company that I have found who carries the clamp is Alba, and they told me that it would take them 2 months to get the part in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trail tech makes one too. Actually, I think theirs is nicer than albas. I have the albe mount. I think on dunes or rocky mountain sell trail tech. The trail tech set up can be purchased with the mount for the computer or the lights.

I have the Alba bar clamp it seems to work good and i think it looks good..........it made me not need or want bars anymore after i installed it with the stock bars, now its the perfect height for me.

 

I know you want 7/8" but are'nt trail tech mounts 1 1/8" only. I have the Trail tech mount on my DS with CR high bend Tag2 bars and I think the combo is perfect. I may be wrong but if they do make a 7/8" bar mount there stuff is quality.

 

Mongo, you are correct. Trailtech only sell the clamp in 1 1/8. Come on guys I really need some help on this one. I am sucking high tit. I eally wish that I could use the 1 1/8, but I have a $110 pair of carbon fiber handguards that only fit 7/8.

I wish someone would come out with a 7/8" billet bar clamp too....... hmmmmm. Alba is several months away huh? hmmmmm ....
