new owner, need hitch advise~
Hey guys~
I am picking up my first ATV, Outlander MAX XT (yellow) on Saturday and need some advise on a trailer hitch. I have a lifted truck w/ a custom bumper where the center of the receiver is about 26" off of the ground. A typical trailer for the ATV that I've seen are all set at 12" to be level. I'm guessing I need about a 12" drop ball to haul the trailer but can't find anything longer than 8" so far.
anyone have suggestions on a 12" drop hitch?? Catch is I need it by Saturday!
Sorry to cross post, I was also just saying Hi as a new Bombardier owner.
thanks!
Mike

I can build one if you need it. (A drop hitch for your truck that is.) I have built a few in my time. Either out of Stainless steel or carbon steel, but there's no way I can have it to you by Saturday. I need at least 3 days to manufacture. I have that exact same bike. You will love it. It will blow you doors off garuanted!! I made a Stainless Steel 2" receiver hitch for my 800. I have them listed on ebay. I wanted to add a flash of stainless steel to the rear of it. I paid enough for the machine!
