Default electric supercharger???

the auction says it dosnt affect air flow when it is not on, but i dont see how that is possible. The only thing i could think of, would be that the propeller/blade just spins with the incoming air, but that makes me think it would be spinning the motor too, and there would be a lot of friction to spin the motor shaft because of the magnents.

Unless there is a clutch system in it, like a BMX kinda deal. WOT is WOT at any rpm, at lower rpm's if the supercharger were full out, it would be drawing it's air from through the carb, so what would happen then? flood it? don't make much sense to me, almost seems that if it were managable, it would be done by now. These turbo guys would have caught on long before they spent 4 grand on their systems.

if you tee it into the airbox it would not be in the main path of air flow, and not affect flow if turned off. teed in means it'll have major trouble getting any boost above 1-2 lbs.

how many amps does it draw? if its pulling 5-10amps, most quads will have trouble powering it.

Junk, junk, junk..........I could give all sort of mathmatical formulas to prove why this won't work but this subject has be beat to death before.
The best one I have seen drew something like 30 amps. Maybe it was 50, I don't remember now? It was just a ton of juice!!! The best it could do was 1PSI gauge. Do a search, it will come up. The guy put up a vid that showed it flying for a few seconds.

Think I'm wrong? How many of these do you see winning races?????? ^ Thats why.

Thats what I was getting at earlier when I said something along the lines of.....

don't make much sense to me, almost seems that if it were managable, it would be done by now. These turbo guys would have caught on long before they spent 4 grand on their systems

However, i'd be interested in some of the scientific reasons you suggested DRTURBO, cuz I may just be interested in building one for my truck or such. Any negative and i guess positive info would be appreciated.
