MisterHP and 222 brought their DS's to St. Joe State Park last weekend and I can vouch that both of their machines are set up to take on the Big Bores. Once you have the chance to line up against one of MisterHP's motors you will see what I'm talking about. Those of you that doubt HP's ability to build fast motor's...you are in for a rude awakening. I could care less about dyno number's but when I see a stock bore/stroke DS motor past a Pami 760...I'm at full attention. I can only imagine what his 730 properly set up will do.

Thumper650, Give it a break. Come to DS days and see what you think. I believe the answer to all your questions lie in the set up. If ya can't tell this is a touchy subject that should be answered on a hill not in the forum. If ya want to ask questions about the best set up for you, great the guys that have already posted can help ya out. What kind of riding do you like?? Are you looking for a duning machine or a drag setup. Maybee trails?? Do a couple searches on the different setups available. Decide which builder you like/trust and go with them.

.Thumper650- If you type key word in the Bombardier search box you will have your answers to everything. Its that little box above the main page.
CountryJoe, I bet your bike hauls butt also, No one is saying hpr cant build fast bikes, he builds some fast ones thats for sure. At fsw there was a 780 raptor from miami that layed the smack down on everyone. No one seems to talk much about this raptor but it smoked everything IE, spaks, hpr, me, etc. Now that should give us all something to strive for and step it up a knotch, thats what makes this sport interesting.. That raptor hauled serious azz. Won a TON of trophies. We have to take notice of this ESPECIALLY cause it was a raptor!!. There ARE other builders who build Ds's just as fast as hpr, IE- TheBomb, Preacher, and maybe a few more we havnt seen yet. Watch the fsw videos and there is One particular raptor that fired out of the hole super fast too and would kick but in 300ft, and ran consistant the whole weekend. That raptor is something the DS world of builders should be concerned about. Thats why I have chosen to dropp a busa motor in my chassy, Yeah, Some may say its not fair, but ya cant go wrong with 175 hp "reliable" set up properly.. JEFFROE knows what hes doing. Ive beat and got beat by the HPR 800s and his 650, yes they are fast and reliable. But if we are not on top of our game, there will always be a suprise. IE- the gp 780 raptor from miami type of stuff.

While MisterHP and ANNIHILATER talk smack, I can guarantee that my quad put out more smoke than either one of their quads at 4SW!
On a more serious note, I agree with CrackerJack. Thumper650 you have asked tons on pointless question on whats faster, etc. There will always be someone faster then you. You can build the best setup today and by the time you are done with the build, there will be something better out there. Build a motor that will fit your riding style. Remember having the fastest drag/hill quad, usually doesn't mean its the most fun quad to ride.
