Lectron 48 Review
i finally got out to give my 48 test run..when i first slapped it on i was very impressed with the mid-high pull this carb put out, the only real complaint i had was that the low-end was lazy. eric called me friday to see how the carb was working out and after i told him i thought his carb was lazy on the bottem end, we found out i was still running my air box.after i took my air box off this carb really rips..its low to mid is nothing ive ever felt on my ds. the top end is very similer to what i had on my duals..i think the lectron matches up very well with a 720 and i would strongly suggest it to any one...in consern to the suck shut problem, u can feel a little resistence at first when u step in the throttle, but the throttle pull is so easy(just like stock) u really dont notice it.my thumb was very pleased with the carb..lol...all in all, i think the power is spread out over the power band better than my duals(i have no numbers to prove that). it seems as soon as u shift u are right bck in the power band, u dont have to wind her up. wish i could of rode her longer, my head gasket started leaking oil around the chain tentioner, so i had to put her up and ride my wifes bike..lol..

sixsixT, i ran the fcr39's..dont get me wrong, there is a ALOT of power to be had with the duals. i just dont have the time to put it on the dyno everytime i change altitudes. they have a ton of top end power, but to me they were lazy everywhere else. i thought about runnung alky to help cure the laziness.if u are a tuner, the fcr mght be for u, i just dont have the talent or the paitience to get them both spot on..
