what carb do you think would be the best for you? a big single that should work a little better out of the hole or two big carbs that might lack a little on the bottom but respond well up top. then there is fuel injection, but being somewhat new might have a very steep learning curve for you. now that you are thinking about that what could you do with gearing to help with the problems of each carb? and after that what cams would you think you would like to run with the riding you do, some that provide better torque down low or some that kind of lack down low but if you rev them really produce, then another question is which exhaust pipe do you think will work well for you, some are better you know, won't take many of those 100 dollar plus tickets to take your money for the carb of your choice. if you really would like to know ask the guys that have a pami ( duneme, bigwayster) this guy named jeff had pretty good luck with one, the bomb has one i believe. a friend of mine has one- and if you want to be like him he runs dual 39's. the best question is tell us what kind of riding you do, and then try and find some help. if you are just running down to the coast to ride, run whatever it comes with you will be fine. if you are wanting to run over to comp or boxcar and be in the race lane all day, get on the pami website and find there best engine set-up and pray it is enough, because it probably won't come close.

so say it has a 45, what amount of horsepower will you gain by switching? or say you looked at rotating mass, and used the money to reduce that?
