Default tm 45 manual guide ?!?!?!

http://www.mikuni.com/pdf/hsr_tuningmanual_021003.pdf

Must have adobe acrobat reader for .pdf files

give it time after you click, big file to download

RWR should have given you a copy of the manual with the carb, they usually do, if you call them, maybe they will send one.

yes the manual RWR supplies is the same manual as the link above, in a small booklet.

describe your problems, maybe can help.

does your carb have accelerator pump, or is it removed?

Your main jet may be too small, what altitude are you in Israel?

Is it true that Israel requires roll bar on quads? I heard this from another member from Israel.

YES I AM FROM ISRAEL AND WE MUST HAVE TO PUT THE roll bar BUT NO ONE DO IT .
i buy this rwr carb from another member here in the forum .
can you tell me the name of this "another member from israel " !?!?!
the accelerator pump is not connecte.
when i push 1/4 gaz (2000-3000 rpm) so is not work well ..... and when i push hard to the end in one push , the engin off.
but when i push slow on the gaz to the end he go fine.
some one told me that i have to much air and not to much fule.
when i connecet the acc pump the engin not work well and have alot of smoke .

I do not remember the name of the other member from Israel - but his avatar is a yellow DS650 with a roll bar drawn on it. I don't know if he is american and in israel, or if he is from israel.

to use the accel pump, there are many pump nozzle sizes, the carbs come with #70 nozzle but the DS does better with #50 nozzle, the 70 is too rich.

with the carb jetted right and pump working, the problems you speak of are gone.
I recommend somewhere between 30 and 40 pilot jet, a #97 needle with clip on 2nd groove from top, and main depends on motor mods portwork and exhaust pipe - somewhere from 145 to 160 depending. #50 pump nozzle, with pump limit screws set to squirt from right off idle and stop squirting at 1/2 throttle.
here is picture of pumper parts and identification http://www.flatlandersatv.com/galler...album=8&pos=21

probably rich on the pilot jet if you set up to use the pumper. I would guess maybe a 30 pilot and pumper set to squirt from right off idle to 1/2 throttle. 40 pilot with also pumper may be a little rich for you

your main jet may be correct, not sure how the sq1 flows but I know its less than the race series HMF I run, common jet for race series is around 155 to 160. you can try jetting up one size at a time, and feel power gain each time, stop and go back down one size after no more gain.
