Article on front wheel drive,Pulling itself off blocks
#1
Read somewhere, they had put the Traxter on 3 jacks and with the one front wheel on the ground, it pulled itself off the jacks/blocks. Can anyone tell me where that can be found ?
Also I have a Traxter, 200+ miles on it, I had a problem with the shifting, they installed new shift solenoid and recommended changing to 5W-30 lube oil, it now shifts like a automatic, very nice and smooth.
I have been using a Honda 450ES to push the microsprint cars, feel this Traxter will do a better job when comes to hauling the wounded cars off the track. Have a winch mounted on top of a basket on rear rack and seems to do a great job. The Traxter is heavy enough to tow and steer at the same time.
Anyone have any experience with synthetic oil in this unit?
Anyone have any problems ?
Thanks
Dave

You're not using your winch line as a tow strap, are you?
Do the cars you refer to use a large motorcycle engine? I saw a class of cars that did, but cannot remember what they were called.

%y4 Micro Sprints run a fews classes, the 125 CC, 250 CC air or water cooled. TRhe 600CC has electric start and only pull them off the track when the get wounded.
Yes, the Winch is the Warn 2000, it has a good brake setup and with the max weight of about 400 lbs verticle, works fine.
Yesterday I pulled the max stupid, turned the Traxter over backwards on myself, got screwed up, dont recommend it. broken up, but right now the problem is the black and blue areas and the pain that goes with it.
