Neutral light.

Default Neutral light.

Hey guys. My neutral light is stay on in all gears. Do I have a bad sensor, sending unit? Any idea what the prob is? Thanks in advance....

Default Neutral light.

Unscrew the lead to the sensor, if the light is still on your wire is grounding somewhere along the way as the sensor works by grounding the circuit when in neutral. If the light goes out it is your sensor stuck in the ground position.

Default Neutral light.

Mine does that after I wash it a the car wash, once you shut the key off and turn it back on everything is fine and normal.

Default Neutral light.

i have the same problem with my outty 04. the neutral light likes to stay when the bike gets wet, (happens alot). i don't know alot about the wiring or where to look. can someone show me where they are and how to fix it.
