Default ethylene glycol vs. propolene glycol?

What are your thoughts either way. I noticed that "Engine Ice" is based on ethylene glycol. I know the new "pink" stuff from GM is ethylene glycol. I think that is whatI am going to go back with.

I cannot remember which one, but one off them is morepet friendly. one will kill a dog with just a little bit, but the other one, it takes alot to kill a dog.

Ethylene glycol is regular antifreeze. It's the stuff that kills pets. Remember a few years back when the price of antifreeze was going through the roof? That was also the peak of the vcr/video tape market before dvd killed it. Blank recording tape is also made with ethylene glycol.

Before anyone calls me on this, I'll state that this is from alcohol faded memory and I can't guarantee 100% accuracy

Yeah, I understand what it is. I'm wondering which is better. I have heard that the "pink" stuff has better heat transfer properties, is much more stable, and has much better lubrication properties (for your water pump seals).
