Eric has the only gun drilled stock axle that I know of and his works great. I have several types of aftermarket axles that are for drag race only.

BigBaja has one. He also milled down the axel - thinner on the outside.

I've seen it on a guy that runs a 400EX that is built for dragging too.

What's the cost?

Expected weight savings?

shmee all my axles are larger than stock so the holes are large and would be to much out for sure on stock. Eric has his drilled out but rewelded the splines back on after so he would be the only one that could answer that question on what he feels is safe. He did shorten his which helps also.

I did not want to say it!!!! It would be a lot of labor and very hard to do it yourself.
