hey there
yes another question about tyres and sprockets u guys must be sick of answering these questions but here we go any way
iam almost due for new tyres. ok so iam around the 300 pound mark and about 6 foot i many do trails
so do i go up to 22*10.9s and change my front to a 15 tooth or do i stay at the stock sizing i would like to get a bit more top end speed, but i do still need to be able to lift the front end to get over things on the trails
so can all you guys with the wisdom that have do this before please fill a dum aussie in
thanks matt

Matt, I just changed to the 22" rear s and 23" fronts myself. I have not changed the gearing yet but I have a 15 tooth counter shaft sprocket to install. If you want to increase top speed and still be able to loft the front wheels I think you will be good with that combination. My DS, with the stock 16 tooth, will still pull the fronts up when need be. 22" Rear tires X 15T front X 40T rear = just a tad higher than stock. Hope that answers your question.

Matt,
The US measurements for tires for what you want is 22" X 11" X 9". Where 22" is the total tire hight, 11 inches is the total tire width and 9" is the rim size. But since you are on the metric system down under, your .... ahem ... tyre size would be different. If they have those tyres down under made from the same mold as up here, you'd need to do a simple conversion to metric.
Inch to Metric Conversion
22" 55.88cm
11" 27.94cm
9" 22.86cm
I hope that helps
