HPR 730 What Clutch?
#1
I just ordered HPR's 730 big bore kit (13:1) and I also broke down and am ordering the Lectron 48 and ported intake tommorrow.
Im going to wait until she's done being mad at me before I order the cams. My question is am I going to need to replace the stock
clutch or will it handle the extra power? Should I replace just the springs or the whole thing. Also if anyone has any tips on changing
out the jug and piston ie special tools or tricks to get it apart i would be in your debt. Thanks

I would go ahead and order the Barnett 9-disk clutch system and be happy. You will be money ahead. Now there is a lot of guys that run the stock clutch plates with some stiffer springs. I went to the Barnett and have been very satisfied...just my 2cents.

Sandaholic, Cool pics, thanks, How long did it take to install the big bore kit? I see that you pulled the motor, Randall
told me I could do it with it in. I see your running 13:1 were you happy with the gain. They told me I should expect about a 20 hp
gain. Im going to wait to do the cams not sure if I will go with web or hpr's. Im having some trouble getting the top bolt out of the
intake, I got a ball end allen wrench but it is still a b!tch. Also do I need a ring compressor to get the piston in or can I do it by hand?
Thanks alot for all your help.
