Keep in mind he is married to a woamn - which means even if she decides the ATV herself (or car, or blouse, or top, or pants, or trousers or skirt or whatever) she'll likely change her mind and not like it shortly after she buys it anyhow. The best you can hope for is that she'll like it enough to not complain -too- much. The other method you could use is the female she buying method: just buy one of everything and you have no F!@$#ing problem!
Now that is a method any man can appreciate when apply it to ATVs, right?

the new 06' craptor is a 700 and I hope she likes to wheelie cause a craptor likes to wheelie. Yfz450 is great for a chick, low to the ground and weighs over 100 pounds less. Chicks also dig reverse cause you know how they change their minds every five minutes.

Whatever you do, do not buy your wife a Craptor or the 450. I rode both extensively. They are fast and they are fun. But they are definitely bikes that require 100% man-handling. They are rough, they require alot of strength, and you are dead at the end of a day of riding.
I ride with two buddies who have one of each of the above. I have taken them both on trips myself before I bought my DS. Neither bike rides as nice as the DS. Previous to the DS, I rode a Z400 (it now belongs to the wife). She loves the Z. The Z is very easy to ride and is a very capable bike. You can get alot more out of the Z with very little effort. Just my $0.02.
