Viper I really dont appreciate you calling my buddy a dumbazz. If you had something to say you should have said it at the hill instead of flappin lips with the keyboard. that was MY blue yfz450 and MY buddy that was riding it. He was NOT racing anyone when the accident happened. DSaholic was past the point in my opinion where someone should shut down.
I'm not saying that my buddy didnt have a lot to do with the wreck ... but I will not say he was 100% at fault for that accident and will leave it at that. It was an unfortunate thing that happened but I was just glad both riders were able to walk away - forget the machines they are replaceable
anyways ..... I radared a bunch of bikes and honestly dont remember them all but here are a few. this is with my gun which might read different than yours
black turbo DS with lights on bars - consistent 58 and 59
viper - consistent 53's and a few 54's
black turbo/nitrous raptor only ran a few times that I saw but hit 68
my orange gas yfz was running consistent 50's and a got a few 51's.
numbers are just that .... numbers. viper with 53 would beat the 59 mph turbo bike everytime i saw. i talked with a few of you guys including duneme and he even roosted the crap out of me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] see you next year

What else did you want to say at the hill, pay fukin attention? It's guys like that, that cause these accidents. Just like the kid riding with his family, another dumbazz ran right through there group and nailed him. Was it his fault?

Sorry man, I disagree with you. I know that hill - If you have to shut it down before reaching the top, you look over your shoulder before you turn right or left. It was safer to turn right that day since there was little or no traffic to the right of the slow hill.
Welcome to the DS Forum. Your friend got lucky that Matt hit him - Mark that one down for lessons taught by the "School Bus" - Next time bring your notebook and lunchbox cuz we have more to teach. You're friend can learn sooner or later - Sooner is cheaper and less painfull.

I have been going to Sand Mtn Nevada for years and know I have more time under my belt there than most of you guys. I have seen quite a few accidents out there. Both riders were lucky they were not hurst worse
I take partial responsibility for what happened to my friend Ray for not taking the time to explain a few more things about the hill and the racing that goes on there.
It was his first trip to SMNV. He was not racing anyone though - seriously he ran down to camp for a minute and was coming back up the hill to sit in the lawn chairs and drink beer.
Viper I dont understand why you are talking the $hit you are. I already talked to DSaholic at the hill and we are cool. If you had $hit to talk you should have said something while we were all at the hill.

I want to make it clear that Im not butthurt about the whole situation at the hill. I will disagree with you guys about shutting down when and where but its cool
However I think its lame that someone comes on here talking $hit when they dont expect the "azzhole" to see it.

Thats cool. Accidents are rarely all one persons fault. But you have to admit, you have a set of gonads coming in here, a DS Forum, about DS Days, and trying to teach us. After all, you are the guy that let your non-experienced friend up the hill on a holiday weekend alone. Maybe dumbazz was the wrong word, but after all, remember where you are. Guess its gonna be later?

im not trying to teach you guys anything and im sorry if I came across that way.
im not an active member but i usually check in after labor day since I got to Sand Mtn every year and race some of you guys.
i only had a problem with vipers comments
