Well I made it back. What a great time, I enjoyed meeting all you guys now I can put a face with the handle......The apple pie was GREAT..I made me sleep like a baby.......although I woke up with a fear of gerbals and I after sandaholic's stories of the ER. I'll never look at an ear of corn the same again. I think I hurt more from laughing than I did from riding. The machines I saw there were pretty cool really liked the nos setups. The group ride was a lot of fun...can't wait till next year

Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeee!
No more about the Gerbarls!!
I had a great time! It was nice meeting everyone, I was happy with the way my bike ran and I appreciate all the advice and seeing all the different options that are availible to make them DS's go faster.
It was a great camp atmosphere lots of good food, and drinks and laughs around the fire. Apple Pie is yummy but dont drink after a bunch of Crown and Coke
Marky thanks for the coversation, it was great meeting you, and all the others Blackhawk, JMAC-night ridding is fun! Teebone, Sandaholic, Duneme, Teebone, Scatterbrain, Cofferoaster and Gary-thanks for the hat.
Jed it was great finally meeting and ridding with you DSA and your brother thanks for letting me draft on the way home, 10-11 MPG on the way out 18MPG most of the way home! I thought I was going to go bankrupt paying for all that gas.
I'm putting some pics on my page right now including the impressive line-up!

Gerbals? Corn? Thank God I missed that conversation. I must have already been at the motel.
We need to get someone elected (non-corporate) to organize next year's event. I did talk to Sean about this idea, and having it at a different location every year. I'm cool with it, but before we go out and change things, I suppose we should talk about it more to nobody gets thier feathers ruffled.
So, l guess I'll put it out there - is anybody opposed to having this event at different locations throughout the west ever year? If not, perhaps we should let a non-corporate person organize it that has experience with the area we plan on riding. Utah was brought up, and also Saint Anthonys. Jed was saying he'd been to both, but thought that Utah would be better for the group. Any comments?

Gerbals, corn, and a lengthy discussion on how much a person changes between age 19 to 25, and exactly what point in age does adolecence end. All of these conversations that will live in our minds forever.
When Sandaholic and I made our run to town, we say exactly zero UFOs, UGOs, or anything out of the ordinary. (UGO = unidentified ground object.) However I did see a small SUV with burlap over it - you know, when a auto manufacturer wants to drive a new model across the country but not allow anyone to see who made it or what it really looks like. I'm not sure that counts as alien activity.
I also don't think anyone woke up with a hangover - I know I was good and no one else seemed to be holding their head. I was certainly tired after going to sleep at 3:30 and then somewhere around 5 or 6 some someone started lighting off a LOT of fireworks, sounded like everything from firecrackers to some big M80s or stronger.
Kudos to all who showed up, it was certainly a good event. Thanks to JMAC, JetSnow's Dad Mike & Sandaholic for helping me on and off of DuneMe's trailer for the rooftop pictures.
For those of you who didn't go but could have - guess you can add it to your list of 'should have done' things.

Hey, I just got back.
Too bad I couldn't ride with you guys, and thanks for the compliments on the new look. Only wish it ran that good right now.
Hope I didn't get anyone sick.
