Roll call for ds days!

Boys I'm game if I could get some help from Major, Dsaholic and Demon. Demon I know your a little further away but I'm sure you could help somehow. Man it would be great to have it hear! You boys dont know what your getting yourselves into. Just a hint, "Bring lots of Gas"!
Some local boys put on a fourstroke shootout this last Labor day and I think plan the next one next labor day, so we all could join in the fun of that as well! Call it a little mid year FSW!
And for those that dont race and have never been there, there is big bowls, huge trail shoot, tons of roller to jump, trails, you can bring a utility and run the trails for a week and not hit them all.
Well boys what do ya say?

You should know better then that Jed. Of course I will help. Jeffnrivercity, Knutz, Jetsnow, and myself pretty much spearheaded the first "official" nonofficial DS Days. I can remember it all like its was yesterday..........oh wait I wont go there now, I will be typin forever. Lets just say there was some big mistakes that were made from trying to get it too "official". We dont want to do that again. We will however, if the people would like, can put together a series of events with times and such. BUT and everyone better dang well listen to these words. If we put forth the effort to do this and organize it to that point, it is what it is and wont be changed for petty lil...IMO I think they should change it to this or that. That does not work and just causes a big ol fiasco and will do nothing but get people all riled up over nothing. On that premises I will say we will have one heII of a good time and make it what DS Days has became famous for.

Seems to me the main 'camping location' (ideally GPS Coordinates as well as landmark coordinates - just past the first crapper, then turn left and go 100 feet,) the DS line up, a group ride or two with a designated leader and some loosely scheduled races would be about as much scheduling as any person would want. no trophies, no long day sitting at the hill with no food or water, none of anything that just sucks. (At FSW one of the problems was people who wanted to race really couldn't leave the hill for little things - like LUNCH or WATER - so if you didn't have a truck to bring it out to you then you were screwed.) I think this DS Days went off really well and even though it was damn hot, the BSing, the riding, the racing, the drinking and especially the people were all top notch.
We've just got to make sure that none of these damn Raptor guys try and make us look bad next year
JMAC, you're still okay with me! See ya next trip out.

I agree blackhawk. If they do the four stroke shootout i'm sure you'll have to be there to participate. But when camping in Utah, you can see the hillfrom everywhere. So if we camp at the back a 1/4 mile away, you can still sit in camp, b.s., and watch the racing. What I gathered from everyone, was most just wanted somebody to try and push for more people. Get all we can there sort of thing.

I'll do whatever I can. are we going to keep the same date? Whats the temp like there this time of year?
Jed, I havn't ordered the new pipe yet. Im still trying to make a desicion. The problem I keep running into is noise. The coast db limit is 93 you can get away with 98 if your nice to the cop. Im leaning towards the CT pipe but im really looking hard at the LTE set up. those two guys on the hill were pretty fast running them and their quiet. I really like the look of them. I would have to move my bottle up front to run them but it might be worth it. Donal ordered a set of 25' 8 paddle haulers. were going to try them out and see what happens.

Jmac:
The only maid I want to see is a FRENCH one and it definitely better not be a dude!
Demon:
Well said. If you don't like it just keep your trap shut! I've organized things only to hear people complain about stupid BS.
Luckily, we didn't have that at all at the last DS Day's (except from Jetsnow when we lined up the DS's earlier than he had organized - he was cool about that though.)
Hope I can make it, would like to see the area.
